As a proud former Sumter County student, I am both humbled and honored to serve the community that has given me so much. The strong foundation laid by the dedicated educators who shaped my early years inspired me to pursue a career in education.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Saint Leo University and went on to receive a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. My career began in the classroom, and over the course of 15 years, I served in various roles, including MTSS Coordinator and Reading Coach. In 2012, I transitioned into school administration, where I continue to dedicate myself to supporting student success and promoting educational excellence.
The statement, “Teach as if our students’ lives depend on it -- because they do,” has been the guiding principle throughout my journey as an educator. It fuels my passion for education and informs every decision I make in service of our students and schools.
Today, I am thrilled to be working at Wildwood Elementary where we are “Walking with Excellence and Success.” I look forward to working together to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
